The Caterpillar and I

The Caterpillar and I

Of the caterpillar, a new life begun,

A journey of transformation, a metamorphosis spun.

The old skin shed, a new self born,

A life now dawned, a new world adorned.

The wings now spread, a life begun,

A journey of discovery, a battle won.

For in the metamorphosis, the soul is found,

A purpose true, a life now profound.

So let the journey continue, the path unknown,

For in the metamorphosis, growth is sown.

A new life born, a world now lived,

A metamorphosis, a gift now given.

Whether the caterpillar or I,

we must sprout wings in order to fly.
