If you’re searching for the perfect study spot and cafe, look no further than Brick Farm Market in Hopewell. Situated on Broad Street, Brick Farm offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner as well as fresh produce from six different New Jersey farms. They’re also one of the few spots in the country to offer a myriad of 100% pasture-raised stocks, making them a premier destination for organic food enjoyers.

Opening at 8 AM, Brick Farm offers a breakfast menu with favorites like avocado toast, homemade pancakes, and a Farmer’s breakfast with eggs, sausage, potatoes, and a buttermilk biscuit. Continuing on, Brick Farm serves burgers, farm-sourced salads, crispy beef empanadas, handmade dumplings, pies, quiches, vegan sandwiches, and much more.

Additionally, the drink menu must be addressed; the market brews coffee in all styles while offering other drinks like chai, seasonal teas, smoothies, and pressed juices. A dessert bar located near the register also offers an array of cakes, scones, pies, croissants, and other sweets.

The interior of Brick Farm is open and industrial in style. The sections with produce and meat products from the butcher are sectioned off to their own corners while there’s an upper and lower seating area. With a tall industrial ceiling and comfortable wooden furniture, there’s a nice vibe going on at Brick Farm.

For a morning snack, I recommend choosing one of Brick Farm’s many coffee options and a cheddar chive biscuit. The pastries and bread are made fresh at Brick Farm, so they’re best enjoyed fresh in the morning. As a unique coffee flavoring, the lavender blends nicely with the rich coffee flavor.

For a meal, Brick Farm makes excellent sauerkraut hot dogs, beef empanadas, and fried chicken. The fried chicken is well seasoned and spiced, crunchy on the outside, and soft on the inside. The buttermilk biscuit that goes with the meal is flaky and moist- not dry at all. As for the beef empanadas, the crust is flaky and crunchy, accentuating the juicy meat inside perfectly.

The market is reasonably priced as well– main meals average from $5 to $15. As a side note, for people who enjoy freshly baked loaves of bread, Brick Farm offers an array of different loaves for sale each morning.

“Brick Farm Market is the only place I can buy authentic sourdough bread. It tastes just like the bread I used to eat in Germany,” commented Michaela, a returning customer of the market. Overall, whether it’s for a meal or a place to study in peace, Brick Farm is an ideal location for food and grocery.
