STEP ONE: The Outfit!
For me, having a great day is a
lways made more likely if I am wearing an outfit I feel good in. Today, that outfit was a navy blue dress, a grey sweater, my jean jacket, and black Converse.
STEP TWO: A Buddy!
It is, of course, always okay to go on adventures alone, but personally, I prefer having someone to come along for the ride. It always makes me happy to have someone to talk to and take photos with!

STEP THREE: Begin the Adventures!
Our first stop was to Olive’s for a drink and a cookie! We did forget to take a photo, but we do recommend stopping by for a quick treat to start your day.
Next, we stopped at a market on Paul Robeson Place. We saw many beautiful items that could be given as gifts or personally purchased to brighten up your home/space. But my personal favorite part was seeing all the families with their dogs!

Then, as the main event of the day, we journeyed to the newly reopened Princeton University Art Museum!
I was very excited to go as I love art museums and could probably spend hours staring at a painting if it interests me. I was excited by the collection in the museum, as it featured a few famous names, including my favorite, Monet, while also including a vast and quite diverse amount of lesser-known or unidentified artists.

The museum is three floors; the entrance and a small amount of art are on the first level, the second contains the majority of the art, and the top floor is a restaurant and offices. There are also many smaller areas to sit around in, and a gift shop on the first floor. There is also a Princeton University Art Museum shop in Palmer Square. I recommend going even if you are not very interested in art, as it is free admission, so not a large investment of anything other than time.
We finally ventured to Maruichi, which is a Japanese Food and Deli located in town. There are so many options, leaving something for everyone. It ranges from sushi, snacks, desserts, drinks, and more! We recommend any of the red bean paste buns.

Also, we visited many of the other shops in Princeton, including Brandy Melville, Urban Outfitters, JaZams, and the Nearly New Shop.
Overall, it was a very lovely day with great weather, fun activities, a cute outfit, and a wonderful person to experience it all with!
