On September 19, the Stuart community came together to celebrate one of the most spirited and action-packed traditions of the year—Green and White Day. The day was filled with friendly competition, school spirit, and cultural pride, reminding everyone of the strength of community at Stuart.
The morning began with two treasured traditions: the Flag Ceremony and the first Mass of the school year. During the Flag Ceremony, students, faculty, and staff proudly carried the flags of their family heritage through Cor Unum. With more than 120 members of the Stuart community tracing their roots beyond the United States, over 50 flags were represented, turning the space into a vibrant display of international unity. The ceremony served as a powerful reminder that while we come from many nations and cultures, we are united as part of the global Sacred Heart community.
Once the flags were placed at the front of Cor Unum, Monsignor Greg opened Mass with an inspiring sermon. He highlighted women who have made extraordinary contributions to the world through peace and love, encouraging Stuart students to recognize the impact they, too, can make in their own lives and beyond.
With mass concluded, anticipation built for the afternoon festivities. Students hurried through their last class of the day, eager for the moment they could head to the turf field. Many ran off to suit up in team colors, painting their arms, legs, and faces, donning festive outfits, and getting hyped for the competitions ahead.

After lunch, the community gathered outside, with the entire school divided into the spirited Green and White teams. The field erupted in cheers and team pride as students and faculty competed in a series of high-energy challenges. After a thrilling lineup of events, the Green team pulled ahead and claimed victory, earning bragging rights until next year.
From the unity of the Flag Ceremony to the high-energy competitions of Green and White Day, the celebration highlighted the diversity, spirit, and strength of the Stuart community—proving once again why this day stands as one of the most cherished traditions of the school year.
