On Monday, Oct. 23, the senior class gathered on the Princeton Battlefield at 6:45 a.m. to watch the sunrise, an annual tradition at Stuart known as the “Senior Sunrise.” They were greeted with coffee and hot chocolate from Dunkin’ Donuts, as well as a variety of breakfast options provided by the Soroken family. Dr. Muoio and Ms. Zosche came out to experience this important event with the seniors.
The seniors were all thrilled to be able to come together outside of the Stuart campus. “It was a great way to bond with our classmates,” said Katie Murphy ’24.
Despite the cold, almost all members of the senior class gathered together, wrapped in blankets, to enjoy the sunrise.
Near the end of the gathering, Mrs. Soroken revealed gifts for the seniors, which were sweatshirts that read, “STUART 2ENIOR YE4R,” referencing their graduation year. The seniors proceeded to wear their new sweatshirts during the school day.
