The annual Stuart Upper School fall drama is scheduled for performances on Nov. 3 and 4 at 7:00 p.m. in the Stuart Little Theater. The production is titled Shakespeare? A Panto of Romeo and Juliet and In Theater in War.
The panto, which serves as the brief first act, will be performed by seniors Max Zhou and Layna Tarbotton. Act 2, or In Theatre and War, was written by Amanda Cutalo, Stuart English teacher and head of the Writing Center.
“To have a playwright in residence, Ms. Cutalo,” said Ms. Baldwin, the director, when asked what makes this fall play special. “She gets to come in and help us with our interpretations in the script and adapt the script to make it work better for the cast here in Stuart.”
Ms. Baldwin also noted that every grade is represented in the cast. Tickets are available to purchase through Stuart’s website: https://www.stuartschool.org/arts/box-office
