On Sept. 15, from 12:30 to 1:30 pm, the Upper School at Stuart Country Day School of the Sacred Heart hosted its annual activities fair. This fair took place in the Student Center during the Flex period and gave students a chance to sign up for clubs they might be interested in.
Several club heads expressed how the activities fair impacts their club. “People can come up and ask any type of question they want to and it’s a chance to broadcast what we do,” said Elise Price, Class of 2024.
Annarose Bourgoin St. Maurice, head of HOSA (Future Health Professionals of America), echoed this sentiment. “It allows the clubs to get out there and get new members,” said St. Maurice.
Price also talked about the two clubs she represented at the fair, the Health and Wellness Committee being one of them. “In our Health and Wellness club we talk about mental and physical health,” shared Price. “We give presentations out to the USRC to spread awareness.”
Students are still able to join any of the 38 student activities if they missed the Fair. To join, students should email Ms. Zosche, Dean of Student Life, at [email protected] . All student activities started up the week of Sept. 18. All rosters will be finalized on October 2.
