On Jan. 4, the alumni from classes of 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022 were invited back to Stuart Country Day School for Little Christmas. The current seniors, Class of 2023, were invited to have lunch with these alumni.
The event unofficially began as alumni trickled through the doors, greeted with hugs from both fellow alumni and current students. The opening program started with a prayer and welcome by Ms. Julia Breen Wall, Head of School, who spoke of the history of Little Christmas. She was followed by remarks from Ms. Alma Eisenacher and Ms. Ashley Stewart who had important messages for alumni, including information about the Stuart Fund.
After the luncheon, seniors, alumni, and some current students had time to catch up with one another as well as faculty and staff.
“I really enjoyed being back at Stuart for Little Christmas,” said Kelsie Bouyer, class of 2022. “Reconnecting with everyone has been a highlight of my winter break!”
Sophia Klein, also class of 2022 said, “Going to Little Christmas was really nice and it was fun seeing all my teachers and all my friends from high school.”
Overall, alumni and current seniors alike greatly enjoyed the chance to reconnect and hear about each other’s experiences.
